A French drain is a trench filled with clean gravel, filter fabric, and a perforated pipe that redirects surface water and groundwater away from an unwanted area.
-
Gutter drian-outs connect to your homes existing downspouts and carry water underground via a corrugated pipe and allow the water to exit from a pop-up emitter at the location of your choosing.
-
A catch basin drain or a series of catch basin drains will collect surface water from an unwanted area and move it to a preferred location. They are buried “boxes” with a black or green top connected concurrently with pipe.
-
A channel drain collects surface water that falls on non-porous surfaces, ensuring the water is directed to an appropriate main drainage site (like a drainage pipe). Usually found on driveways, garage door thresholds, or in a valley of a sidewalk or patio.
